Big Hill Adventures

On October 4 we took a trip to the Big Hill.  The students learned about different kinds of seeds and how the seeds get dispersed.  They also learned about types of soil and rocks.

 

STEM Fun

We read Stuart Goes to School and then we had to come up with a way to get Mrs. Spindle off of the roof of the "school" using a limited amount of supplies (thanks to Third Grade Thinker for the great resource).  Here they are in their groups designing ways to get Mrs. Spindle off of the roof.

Forts and a Movie

We built forts to read in and watched Ratatouille to celebrate earning 50 high fives as a class!!!
